Tim Searles began his path to become a master craftsman in 1978 in Hartford, CT after opening his historic, aged-wood refinishing workshop. He spent 29 years working on antique furniture, classic sail and power crafts, historic building interiors, and more. Tim set his sights on mastering the craft of rowing shell restorations after moving to TN, joining Oak Ridge Rowing Association, and learning to row.  His reputation in the rowing world soon grew nationwide, as Tim allowed only the finest craftsmanship to leave his shop.
